The University of Cappadocia takes a leading role in the field of hot air ballooning with its strong infrastructure and expert staff in the Cappadocia Region, the center of balloon tourism in Turkey.

Our University;

• Carries out maintenance and airworthiness activities of hot air balloons under the authority of CAO (Continuing Airworthiness Organization),
• With the authorization of ATO (Approved Training Organization), it trains hot air balloon pilots.

Slot Service Center

Slot Service Center, which operates within the Hot Air Balloon Application and Research Center of Cappadocia University, undertakes the task of airspace management in various regions of Turkey.

This center is authorized by the SHGM;

• Effectively manages the airspace of hot air balloons in Cappadocia, Soganlı, Chat and Pamukkale regions,
• At important flight points such as Fethiye and Pamukkale, he coordinates paragliding operations.

Slot Service Center regulates regional air traffic flow in order to ensure both safe and efficient flight operations and contributes to tourism and sports aviation activities.
