In this context, the university operates as an SHGM-authorized SHY-66 Module Examination Center. At this center, examinations are administered across 17 distinct modules for candidates seeking to obtain a civil aviation maintenance license.

Due to the structural characteristics of the civil aviation sector, personnel working in this field must possess adequate foreign language proficiency. Cappadocia University provides examination administration and resource support to the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (SHGM) for Aircraft Maintenance Personnel Foreign Language Examinations. In accordance with the SHT-66 Directive issued by SHGM, Language Proficiency Examinations are conducted at the university’s Nevşehir and Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen campuses.
