Civil Aviation Cabin Services Program
The University of Cappadocia Civil Aviation Cabin Services (SHKH) Program was established in 2009 and is the first SHGM authorized cabin services program in Turkey. The program trains professional cabin attendants for the civil aviation sector with a training model that complies with national and international standards based on passenger safety and comfort
Since its inception, the program, which has provided numerous graduates, offers a comprehensive education in many areas such as safety culture in aviation, crisis management, passenger psychology, aviation terminology, and international flight rules. Classes are taught by experienced instructors and cabin supervisors who are actively involved in the industry.
Students are equipped with hands-on training supported by realistic scenarios, from pre- and post-flight in-cabin operations to emergency procedures.
An important advantage of the program is that students have the right to obtain a Certificate of Basic Education (TES) approved by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (SHGM) prior to graduation. TES is an industry-recognized document that is mandatory for students to start work as cabin clerks after graduation
The Civil Aviation Cabin Services Program, conducted within the University of Cappadocia, has a strong educational infrastructure built in close cooperation with the industry.
The program has strong ties with both national and international airlines, especially Turkish Airlines, Pegasus, SunExpress and private charter companies. Students have a significant advantage in internship and employment processes thanks to their cooperation with the sector. Graduates are able to serve as cabin clerk, cabin supervisor, and further career steps
